life lately

five things that made her week

1. these Franklin mint
{her recent score from Goodwill. 24kt gold electroplated on 33grams of sterling, $0.99 each}

2. this thrifted trench and scarf
{another Goodwill find, new with tags trench coat that cost her only $6.99 and she smiled all the way home }

3. this vintage Pyrex carafe
{she remembers a line in a book Notes from Underground, Fyodor Dostoyevsky said, ‘I say let the world go to hell, but I should always have my tea’}

4. this vintage purse
{When she was small she was snooping around her grandmothers dressers, she saw the most beautiful little purse she had ever seen. Before she could touch it, she heard a creaking sound, and she dashed out of the room. A few weeks ago she found this hand-made beaded purse at a thrift store, it brings back memory of that intense moment.}

5. this sign of autumn
{autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower, so wrote Albert Camus}

As usual she is linking up with the Thriftasaurus and Vintage Bliss Party.
